Posting this earlier bcoz' I'll be staying overnight at Karene's place today (with Jill). Will be celebrating her bday tmr (01/09) with her too.
Ermz.....I haven get her prezzie yet. *look down in guilt* I suck at buying prezzies. Is it because I lack of creative ideas, a brain or I juz dun understand my frenz well?? Guess itz the latter. Heh.
Went out with Yakai n Huiqi. Kai told me that she has already tot of what to get for me for my bday. She said itz an easy task. But I still have no idea on wat to get for her bday which is juz round the corner!! *pull hair* I guess I'm a much easier book to read/understand than others. Or I'm simply insensitive and unobservant towards frenz. =(
Opz..... I still owe Jill and Xiting their prezzies. So sorry nei.
SURPRISED....TOUCHED....HAPPY.... Those were my reactions when I visited my blog juz now. I didn't expect so many frenz dropping by and commented in it. Itz so great to hear from ya. *Wipe tears* My lil' pig sty never had so many visitors (and there's room for more). But of coz this pig here did some 'email advertising' to lure these precious guests here. =P
With this opportunity, I'd like to thank my Mummy, Daddy, Ah Bui (affectionate name for my Brother, which means Fatty). He's not that fat lar....I'm bui-er. Of coz, not forgetting all my relatives, who dun even know the existence of my bloggy.

Hahaha.....me ain't sleeping yet.....Daddy juz woke up and stood behind me looking at wat I'm doin'. For quite some time. Luckily the 'Hungry Ghost festival' is over. Heh.
He's getting suspicious of me having a boyfriend (when I dun). He has been probing Mummy these days, "Why is your daughter going out so often lately?", "Who's she staying out with?", "Why is she coming home at wee hours?". Poor Mummy. Poor me.
I guess I wun have my 'freedom' till I'm married ?! I hope not.... I missed out alot of fun when I was young. I dun wanna miss out now. I wish my parents have more trust in me. Sometimes I wish I'm a guy.
At last.... I've spent my whole day figuring out how to change the blog's template and tada....here u go !!
Juz a simple thing, I can spend my whole day doing it. Well, not 24 hours actually.....hmmmz.... I tink I took abt 6 hrs !? Well itz as bad already. Haha. And out of that 6..... 3 hrs was spent trying to find out why I can't add the comments thingy in. Later to find out that stupid, silly, moronic me forgot to paste another code into the html code. *dang*
Anywayz, job's done !!! Love the layout alot. Thankz to May*Design and Blogskins.com. I wun have the intelligence to come out with the design. Of coz, I had fun playing with those html codes which I dreaded. The fruit of labour is indeed soooo sweet !!
Oh I watched "Down with Love" with Tesh in the evening. We met a very friendly lady from Today Newspaper. She had free movie tix and asked us for suggestions on which film to watch. "Down with Love" of coz. In return, she gave us a Large Popcorn Combo Set voucher. I had my dinner in darkness too.
"Down with Love" - a nice show with great transitions. Love it bcoz of that tinge of feminism flavour too. Women shld be independent and not bow down to men/love? Sexes are equal? I hope so. Heh. Oh....not forgetting the great performance of Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor.
Alritez.....got to sleep real soon. Got to work tmr. Facing kids again....*tug of war between happy & sad*

I can't smell now and my lungs are probably greyish. Itz the last day of Hungry Ghost Festival and believers have been burning incense papers since late afternoon. I wish I live on higher levels so the smoke won't fill up my entire house even the toilets. I need oxygen tanks. *Grab throat*
Lately, I've been repeating Stefanie Sun's "Yu Jian" (Theme song for movie "Turn Left, Turn Right"). Itz really nice..... =) The leading actors Takeshi Kaneshiro and GiGi Leung is in town these days to promote the film. Too badz....missed the gorgeous Takeshi. Sigh.
Din get to see Mars when itz nearest to Earth. Too badz.....*Cough*
Brother came into my room, jumped onto my bed and started yakking abt his experience of shooting "True Files 2", which premiered few hours ago and how mean his model agency is holding back his pay. Strangely, Bro has been home early these weeks and is occupied with soccer session rather than dating sessions. He even chats up with me more often than usual. *Scratch head*
Anywayz, I din receive much feedback from the "guinea pigs" who ate my Lemon Sponge Cake. The cake can't fish out more compliments other than "Nice". *Smilez* I love it, esp the lemon jam. It's now a must for me to spread it over my bread for brunch. I sleep till noon you see.

Anywayz, I had a great weekend this week. Spent my Saturday with Carina, Braden & Matthew and Sunday with my Grandpa.
On Saturday, we were supposed to watch "The Tales of the 2 Sisters" (Korean horror flick) at 6:50pm. But I guess Singaporeans' best entertainment is watching movies esp. in small cinemas like GV Marina. So we could only get tix for the 9:20pm slot and the third row from the screen, which din turn out that bad.
Before the show, we went to Kenny Rogers for dinner. And itz my first time wasting so much food - Bitz of potato salad, mashed potato and a muffin. Something's wrong with my stomach lately. It can't accept much food and even rejected some.....weird. But I tink itz a good thing.... I can eat lesser and hopefully slim down faster.
After dinner, we happened to passby some area with a dance competition going on. A group of kidz can dance really well. Like that performance the most. Contestants after that group....I shall say they're pretty OK....so-so....
Next to the movie theatre. "The Tales of the 2 Sisters" is a so-so movie. Not that horrifying although I was pretty scared at a few pointz. This movie is quite long-winded n confusing. I only figured out what the movie is really about at the end of it and hoping that I interpreted it correctly.
The movie ended at about 11:30pm. Matthew thought that the night is still young and suggested to go to the Devil's Bar @ Orchard Parade Hotel. We went, had fun grooving to the nice loud music and sipping Vodka Lime from a jug. But my eyes were "blinded" by the lighting effects there. Not used to it but it made pretty cool "dance movement freeze" effects. Not sure if u got what I m trying to mean ?? Anyway, it'z thumbs up for their drinks and music. Oh well, itz not like I'm into S'pore's clubbing scene well enough to comment or judge. Heh. Partying ended at 115am.
Then itz rise n shine at 12pm on Sunday. Had arranged a baking lesson with Grandpa on this day. Actually, I juz wanted to learn his recipe for Lemon Jam but since I got a craving for his Lemon Sponge cake, I asked him to teach me both. This is my first lesson and there will be more coming up for sure. Grandpa is such a great chef with lotsa self-invented recipes under his apron. But sad to say he doesn't write down his recipes, itz all in his mind. Sigh.
I have to say, Grandpa is really a good teacher. Knowing that I'm an amateur, he illustrated the steps slowly and made sure I understood his words before going on. He even let me try to do every step myself once.
Luckily I managed to converse pretty well with him with my broken Hainanese. My understanding of Hainanese is limited too. If he speaks a lil' faster, my 'sotong' face will resurface. I wish I'm more proficient in Hainanese so to communicate better with Grandpa and learn more from him. Sigh.
This first attempt of baking a Lemon Sponge cake, I've got my family, Carina, Braden and Jinde to be my guinea pigs. Haha. They have yet to taste the cake, so do I. Let's juz wait till few hours later for my family to have their Lemon Sponge cake breakfast. As for Carina, Braden and Jinde, I'll meet them up in the evening. Maybe the cake will be their dessert.
I'm pretty confident with my attempt afterall I have a great teacher !! Plus he did 60% of the stuff. Heh. *Fingers still crossed*
I love doing them....esp when I'm bored. Heh. They help me know myself better. Confuse me more like it. =/ Well....juz for the fun. Who knows some might turn out to be true.

But what drew the crowd to Topshop/Topman/Miss Selfridge/Warehouse/Karen Millan ?? Itz 3 hours of 40% discount storewide !!! Only for UOB credit card holders & Fashion Forward members.
Oh well, I guess I'm juz down with my luck - being broke, unable to find clothes that suits me.....coz I'm *** & **** and always being the one to move a step backward and forward juz to let people cut thru the queue. ARGH.
But the sweetest thing will come last. After 3 hours of standing and waiting, I got a treat to 10 mins of head n back massage. Ohhhh......all my pain n aches are gone......
Imagine I woke up at 715am in the morning and I'm still wide awake now ! The massage is really something.
Speaking abt waking up at 715am, that's my earliest ! These few months.....I'll only wake up after noon !! And guess what, I woke up so early juz for a job interview that started an hour late and was cheating people into doing door to door sales with fanciful position titles like "Marketing executive", "Events Co-ordinator" etc.
Being a BAKABAKASHII ("Stupid" in Japanese) pig, I've fallen for this trick for the third time. But being a DANKOTARU ("Determined" in Jap) pig, I will never give up in finding a full time job !!! GANBATTE ("Go for it" in Jap) !!!
