Back to my Sec Sch....AGAIN

Went back again. The last time was on the Speech Day a month ago. This time is to give the teachers their belated Teacher's Day prezzies. Yakai n I are the only two who care for our teachers coz we baked cookies, cross-stitched handphone chains, wrapped them up nicely and hand delievered them.

See what we've done.

Delicious, aren't they?

Nice?? Done by me. Chinese words are tough to stitch. =P

Together with Yakai's work. Hers are nicer. Coz mine are last minute work.

Our last initials are stitched at the back. K= ya Kai Y= xu yun S= hui Sian H= shu Hua. Play ard with the initials. HS= Hui Sian, SH= Shu Hua, YK= Ya Kai oppz....I'm the odd one out. No "X" there. Heh.

Tada!! Prezzies ready for deliver.

Love to visit the teachers. It's warm and loving. Especially when they ask the same question, "So, what are you doing now?" and we have to start explaining to them all over again. =)

A nice long chat with Mrs Yang (Sec 1 form teacher) is a must whenever we're back. She even brought us on a "Staff Room" tour. Found a huge treadmill in the pantry. Haha. Oh another new discovery was that Mrs Yang and Mr Wong (Sec 1 Science teacher) are both Hainanese. I told them in Hainanese that I don't know how to speak the dialect. Stupid.

When we visited our Sec 4 Maths teacher, Mr Yap, he kept urging both of us to take up accountancy. "Good prospects and high in demand", according to him. But Mr Yap, isn't that too late for me to learn now!? In fact, I hate it. Mr Yap is retiring soon, so is Mrs Yang. Not sure if we can still keep in touch with them. I'll sure try.

Last stop - Library. The library is always our playground. Itz a must to visit it, not forgetting Mrs Thomas, the chief librarian-in-charge. Once a librarian, always one. When YK n I saw a pile of unwrapped books on the table, we immediately volunteered to wrap them. I'm pretty "impressed" with the librarians who cut the plastic wrappers. Some wrappers were cut so "artistically" that I don't bear to wrap the books with them. But I still did.

Of coz our hardwork is rewarded - with a cup of soya bean and Ching Cao drink. =)
