Happy Bday Confucius

Din know when is Confucius' bday until today when I went to help out in the Confucius Bday celebration carnival at Joo Chiat Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) temple today. This event is jointly organised by Wanlin's fren, Linus and the temple.

Though I only had 4 hours of sleep, I din show any tireness while working there. There were so much of fun. I was in-charge of giving out free ice-creams with Sharry. But later, I took over the job of giving out free balloons to kidz. Yes, kidz AGAIN...! Oh, but u never know the joy I had when I saw the kidz' contented smiles when they got their fave color balloons. =) We gals even made sure that the kidz call us "Jie Jie" (Sister) instead of Auntie before they got their balloons. Heh. Oh, I also realised that balloons are great weights to train the biceps and triceps.

Towards the end of the event, I went back to giving out ice-creams. We gave out so many ice-creams even to those without coupons but we still have tons of ice-cream left. Itz more than enough for me to eat for 10 years. In the end, we were so desperate that we offered 10 sticks when the person only asked for one. Haha.

After the event, I went to Kinokuniya @ Liang Court with Sharry. There was a 20% discount on all books islandwide. So tempting!!! Remember my love for books? In the end, I spent my salary of the day on books. =P
