Stupidity and Honesty -- a line of difference

I was again at the Mango sale. This time with a company. Nevertheless, there's reward (or a loss of money?).

Anywayz, got myself a black slvless top and a pair of black jeans (super comfy!). The bill came up to $88. When I was abt to enter my NETS pin, I realised only $29 was charged. Then, without much totz, I told the cashier tat she entered the wrong amt. She realised her mistake and so did I.

Am I stupid? Or juz too honest? I could have gotten my jeans for FREE. But what will happen if I din tell the cashier the mistake? Tug of war between the angel and devil. Still struggling.

The more I tink of it, the stupider I feel. Why muz I have such sharp eyes? I'm supposed to be BLUR. Argh. Or I'm juz born kind. Too kind to be true. Hahaha. Well, after all itz a good deed. Yeah, trying to console myself.

So, what will u do if this scenario happens on ya?? U ought to answer me....

Pure Addiction

Did I mention that I'm so in love with the 4 SATC gals? Did I tell ya that I gave up my beauty sleep for them? For the past 2 days, I've been sleeping at 4am. Staying up to watch SATC. Hee.

I'm sure I din tell u that I received lotsa Xmas prez, ironically, from myself. Heh. So that's another addiction -- SHOPPING!! Apparently, I'm not very self-disciplined today. Supposed to go get Xmas cards and gift wrappers in town but I end up walking ard, buying things for myself, which is never part of my plan.

I got for myself 2 fabric nail art shape sets (Nail art, another fantastic addiction!) and a purple sleeveless top frm Topshop. That's not all.....

On my way to work today, I heard two ladies with Mango shopping bags, happily discussing abt how gorgeous and cheap their triumphs were. Then I realised....there's a Mango sale!!! Yippie! I tried to rejoice with my tired mind.

So, I claimed an hour off work to go town to get stuff. And I made sure I'm going to places where Mango is. Actually, I told myself to get out of town at 7ish...in the end...it dragged on to 10ish. Heehee. Was trying to grab those great bargains frm Mango, u see.

Well, the 2 hours in Mango is well-spent. I bought 3 tops (long, short n no sleeves), 3 mini (black, fuchsia and pink) and a black mid-length skirt. Remember I was eyeing at a Mango skirt that cost 75 bucks? I saw it, in pink instead of black. Sigh. Right size, wrong colour. Most imptly, itz now 35 bucks!! So, I settled on sth similar to the one I love. Looks as great! =D

In a whole, I burnt 150 bucks from my pocket. No heartaches. In fact, I feel so GREAT!!! Well, maybe not after this holiday season. Heehee. Better save these clothes for Chinese New Year.

After all....I din stay home on Sunday. Went out with Kai and bought more clothes. Not to mention, sleeveless ones! Also, a white mini skirt.

Believe it or not, I'm going thru a transition - from a tomboy to a more feminine gal. OK...I really can't ditch that rough boyish personality in me. And that wld be SO NOT ME! *screams* Maybe I'm a multi-faceted gal....juz adding more feminine touch to myself.

Imagining myself speaking softly and sweetly, being gentle and being a damsel in distress...juz makes my stomach turns topsy turvy. *pukes* Tink u'll puke too.

Anywayz, I tink I'm turning my wardrobe sexier (rather than feminine). With racerback tops, halter neck ones, mini skirts....hmmz...could it be overdosage of Sex and The City? Oh well....I chose a black halter neck over a long sleeved top bcoz I no longer see showing off fats as a sin. Time to love my fats! Maybe someday I'll find a man who loves my fats like how Mark Darcy loves Bridget Jone's. =)

Oh speaking of SATC....I've FINALLy finished downloading all the series!!! Yippie! Waited so long for the files to dl. During that period of time, I recapped on Season 1. Love it to bitz. Also, thanks to SATC, I'm learning to embrace my adulthood with more confidence and liberating myself more. I now feel less oppressed by this superficial society. Maybe more....I dunno. Juz hope that this great feeling doesn't go away.

I tink I'm learning all these so slowly.....itz like after 21 years then I'm a lil' enlightened? Haha. What not, I'm now a tough independent lady. I'm all ready to take up watever that comes along. No matter what I've to hang on there!!!

Yippie!!! Finally finished downloading Sex and The City (SATC) Season 1!! Completed 6 episodes and 6 more to go. Meanwhile, I'm also trying to download the other seasons. Haha. I really love this serial. Envious of the strong bond among the 4 main characters.....I wish I have such close frenz too. I'm juz loving SATC more.....though I tink I'm pretty slow, only after they have their 6th season then I get to watch season 1. Heh.

Anywayz, did my 3rd xmas shopping today....manage to get some things out of that super ultra packed Orchard Rd.

Today's my second phase of Xmas shopping....bought lil things here and there. Mostly for myself. Hee.

There's 30% storewide sale at Ebase -- a place where I can find loose clothes to cover my fats, so I bought black racerback top and pink tube dress from there. Hee. Liberate myself ey. Then, I walked past Mphosis...to my surprise, I saw the dress I love so much back on the shelf!!! It went out of stock for sometime....and itz back. Itz abt 51 bucks.....black V-neck sleeveless dress with strings to tie ard. I'm CRAZY....looking at and buying clothes that might juz end up untouched in PigZ Museum. Most imptly, I dun have the bod to carry those pieces off.

Oh....and at last I found the Jap movie, Quill's vcd at Carrefour! Yippie....itz HK version though. I also got Elva's and Stef Sun's karaoke dvd. Dirt cheap -- $7. Haha. Guess itz imported from China. But quality quite good leh.

Rite....this year's Xmas is really "happening". Have some meeting-ups with frenz but have yet to be confirmed. Guess for the next few days....I'll still be hunting for somemore Xmas prez and materials for Xmas cards.

Dun be shocked if u see me begging on the streets after Xmas. Juz walk up to me and drop some money into my bowl.

Yippie!!!!! At last I have time to do my own things.....I'm on leave from tmr onwards to 22nd Dec. Shiok man!!! I need alot of beauty sleep as well as time to myself....*yawnz*

Went shopping in the evening with XT and got Xmas gifts for my 3 sec sch kakis. Hopefully by Tues....I can finish my season shopping. Heh. Burning HUGE hole in my pocket.

Anywayz, programs for Xmas eve and Xmas day has not been confirmed. If they're really going to take place, then this year's Xmas will be te most enjoyable one. Coz for the past Xmas or even New Year's countdown, I've been at home and no where else. Sigh.

Alritez....will be back for a while to tell u more......off to moi bed!!!
