Farewell....

These two nights, I've been crying. Firstly, my favourite President, Mr. Wee Kim Wee past away, also a Taiwanese veteran comedian, Ni Min Ran, committed suicide.

U must be tinking, why am I shedding tears for them, when I dun even know them!? Simply bcoz those tributes paid to them caused my tears to well up (all so naturally!). I somehow feel the pain of the family and frens of the departed. I could see how these pple had touched others' lives.

I brought today's Straits Times to work. Was reading juz the quotes of what others have to say abt Mr. Wee, I started to tear. Luckily no students saw that. Heh.

Mr. Wee was such a great man...a very successful one too. He's so close to people's hearts....even when I was a kid, I love him so much. I still do. I'm actually tinking abt going down to his wake. Tinking...

As for the Taiwanese comedian, itz pretty sad to hear that he committed suicide out of depression. Could feel the grieve and disbelief from his good frens. Committing suicide isn't the only method to solve problems, is it?

In the past, I thought death is the best way to solve n end everything. But when I choose to kill myself, I've also stabbed hundreds of knives into the hearts of pple who love me. Now, I choose to live on. Hopefully, pick up social work skills or psychology to help others with their problems. Heh. I have a few cases right now that I worry for, but I dunno how to help yet. =/

Anyway, this isn't the first time I'm so upset over deaths. Besides the deaths of my own relatives, I've also cried over Mr. Ong Teng Chong & his wife's, Anita Mui's, Leslie Cheung's, Teresa Teng's, Deng Xiao Ping's, Princess Diana's, Zhang Yu Sheng's death. Tink the list is longer than this. I also cried over fictional character's deaths. Heh.

Basically, I'm quite an emotional person. But itz pretty hard to see me crying during normal days. My tears are accumulative. But somehow, when something trigger that open floodgate button, I'll let all the emotions out and after that start afresh. Heh. Finding outlets in life to vent out negative emotions is very important. That's sth I've learnt along the way.

And now, I pray hard for happiness to surround everyone. Esp my loved ones! =) We all have to live on....as stronger beings.
