Today, I went to Karene's graduation ceremony at SIM. Managed to drag myself outta bed in time. Hee.

Boarded Bus 157. The usual transport that I'll take to Ngee Ann Poly. The bus journey was pretty nostalgic. I haven been travelling to Ngee Ann Poly area for the past 2 years. I even drop one bus stop before the usual one I drop at. Oh my.

I felt pretty out of place too. With all the poly students travelling on the same bus. We're going to different destinations for different purposes and with different dressing styles. I no longer 'belong' to their league. I can't blend in. *Feels old*

Rite, still reach SIM safely with bagful of thoughts. Tried calling Karene to ask her where is the ceremony held. She din picked up. So with my remains of common sense, I guess it must be somewhere OBVIOUS. Walked on and saw BUFFET. That shld be the place for tea reception. And the hall must be around, or at least some signs to direct pple. So smart. =/

Arrived at the hall on time: 9.45am. Found a seat. Alone with strangers ard me. Intimidating. Sleepy. Ceremony started. And I can't hear the MC. Raised to welcome the procession of chancellors and important pple of RMIT & SIM. With the formal music and the people in different robes, I felt like I'm in Hogwarts. Plus those ang mohs really look like the professors in Harry Potter. Heh.

A must-have item in a grad ceremony -- Speech. Time to sleep, I thought. I tried to but there's this irritating Gameboy sound from behind. Dang dang dang, ding ding, dang, iiieeeuu, ting ting ting. Argh. How to sleep?? Sigh. Nevertheless, the pathetic amplifying system of the hall is making every word of the speakers in to ultra soft lullabys.

I was invited to Karene's graduation but it also happens to be some of our Mass Comm coursemates' too. Long time since I last seen them. Hee. Like wat one of the speakers mentioned (I actually remember!) we all should be proud of the graduates. Yes, I'm proud of all my frenz who graduate today. *clap clap* Karene got her degree with Distinction. *cheers*

Now, itz left with me. Without a degree. Not knowing wat I wanna study or wat I want in life. Watever. I had a great day at SIM. =)
