I tink I should be a MAN!! The job I did juz now was something that two guys cant manage. I hung up a huge curtain that's used to cover up our learning centre's ballet studio mirrors. I feel so accomplished!! I can vividly remember few months back, our centre's 2 male cleaners needed a few more ladies to help them with that curtain. Woooo...and I can do it all by myself!! Kinda easy leh, though the curtains are REALLY heavy and I have to balance myself on the ladder and ballet barre to hang it up.
If you were to ask me to put up 100 of such curtains or to write a 1000-word essay, I will definitely choose the former. Do you know that I have such a tough time trying to write my 1000-word psychology essay? 26 hours of writing...and I only wrote 800 words. I bet all the undergrads out there are rolling on the floor laughing. I was feeling freaking lousy. Broke down...weeped secretly...went into MSN for a minute to scare the hell out of concerned frenz. And speaking abt that, I have to be really sorry to those frenz who cared. For those who are wondering what happened, let me fill u in.
My nick on MSN last nite was "Wanna kill myself!!" with a personal message saying, "using this last minute to say goodbye to everyone." The msg attracted few frens' concern. Din answer them much and logged out within a minute. Guess they either think I'm mad or they were too shocked. Ting was the only one who smsed to make sure I dun do anything silly. She has this like 50-50 belief that I would kill myself or I would brave thru things. Heh...sorry to worry you and thanks for talking thru the night with me.
I believe if I come up with more of such nonsense, "The Boy who Cried Wolf" effect will be formed. Frenz will start to think, "Ohhh...and there she goes again!". Sadly, the effect has appeared in some frenz - the ones who I wun be expecting in my funeral. *meanie me*
Anywayz, I'm waiting for more frenz to fall into this effect. So, I'll have lesser letters to write before I really have to die. Hahaha. One thing I'm sure, with my parents around, I'll live on to annoy people!! Muahahaha!
These days, I've been receiving praises from frenz. Not trying to be a show-off here. Juz like to thank the kind angels for putting nice words on me.
Though I beg to differ, some feel that I've slimmed down (still FAT!) and look nicer now (thanks to cosmetics!). They also think that I dress better, as in no longer in juz black. Well....I did add in colours to my wardrobe coz I'm beginning to love all colours (EXCEPT green) but I always love black and white. They are my chic classic colours. You know, CHANEL!! =P
The most surprising comment was from Cheryl, my ex-student, who is my young buddy now. She smsed me yesterday while watching the re-run of Super Sunday (Taiwanese variety show), to tell me that I look like Xiao S and Ruien. And juz now, she smsed me to say, "Come to think of it, u sing better than ruien anyway." So sweet of her to relate me to pretty celebs. Heh. She's not the first to say I look like Xiao S. Ting is still harping over this til today. Hee. She even made me a beautiful 21st bday card with my pics n Xiao S's tiled on the cover. =)
U shall be the judge then.
Xiao S Me RuiEn
They are far too pretty le lar!! Gosh...I'm juz embarassing myself with this. =/
The most absurd adjectives newly used to describe me are "Hot" and "Sexy". Me? Haha. That's the greatest insult to other gals. I dun wanna get beaten up. Haha.
Anywayz, thanks for ur kind words pple. =) I tink I still have a LONG way to go to make myself a better being. May it be physical appearence or inner self.....
Hi all....let me introduce myself! I'm Eunice Wong, a Customer Service Coordinator/Childcare Teacher/Typist/Corridor Designer/Coolie/Photographer/Nail Artist at Crestar Learning Ctr (RTC). I tink there are more...juz can't recall.
Let me explain how that Nail Artist come about. Yesterday, our centre held an art carnival. Every classroom turned into art and craft booths for children and parents to choose what they wish to do. There were makings of key-chains, photo frames and hanging ornaments. Tatz not all. We have other forms of ART to present - body & nail art painting and henna drawing. Of coz, knowing I'm a nail art enthusiast, my manager appointed me as the nail artist of the day.
Oh...how I wish I can do this everyday. Just paint nails...draw them...make kids happy. =) Start to tink about it, why am I taking deg in Psy? Maybe I shld pick up various certs/Dip on beauty, spa, massage, makeup, fashion design, sewing, nail art...and wat not lar. Hmmmz....maybe I should master Psy first. Fix ppl's inner beauty b4 the outer's. *fickle*
Anywayz, the Art Carnival was fun. I got my right arm painted with pink and purple flowers and a flower bracelet on my left wrist. Ohhhh....I received praises for my beautifully painted nails and my nail art techniques. I gave some tips to the parents too. Like erm....pay attn to the lil dents on the nails. Itz caused by the lack of protein instead of calcium. Our nails and hair are all unwanted protein, I...tink... *bite lips*
Reminder from Pang and boredom led to this entry. Got to drag myself out of my bed this morning juz to be in the office, at 10am, to receive phone calls and wait for violin lessons to start at 1130am.
Got an hour more of beauty sleep coz 9am ballet and abacus classes are cancelled. Still....*yawnz*
Luckily I got my dear Piglyn (my laptop) with me. I can edit pictures...do some research for assignments...listen to my mp3...connect to RTC President Suite's wireless connection for free, which makes uploading blogs faster!! And Piglyn has more MSN emoicons. =P
I had quite a nice week. On Tuesday (07/03), Kinderland RTC invited mothers for a pampering afternoon in celebration of the International Women's Day. All ladies got to enjoy a relaxing head-shoulder massage or a soothing foot reflexology by the visually-disabled, High-Tea with pasteries, cheese and wine/Bailey's (I love Bailey's!!), Face Bistro's Color Me beauty workshop and lastly a Modern Jazz Dance trial!! I got to join in too and my job of the day is the photographer. Haha. Shiok. Enjoyed every single part of the program. Love the Jazz Dance. Love the shoulder massage. Love the Bailey's. FUN!!!
Thursday (09/06) morning, got to do last minute check and print out my Social Science assignment. While rushing thru everything, my aunt brought my cousin and her good friend just to see how "slim" I'm now. I was so embarassed. Like a big fat sculpture for musuem vistors to scrutinise and observe. =/ My cuz's friend is an air-stewardess...you tink she will praise me for looking like a ^(oo)^ ?
Anywayz, I scored points in teaching all of them lil beauty tips like how to prevent their breasts from sagging and probably upsizing them. Hehe. I have lotsa beauty tips to share but I'm not a good example for results; I normally dun practise what I preach, maybe once in a while when I remember. =P
After handing in my paper n lunching with Tesh, we headed down to Holland V to shop. There, we were approached by this couple from Next salon. The guy needed a model for his training. I agreed to help anyway it would only start after I end my work the next evening.
Friday...was a super hectic day at work. And I wasn't doing wat I am paid to do. Haha. I was asked to help out in Kinderland's operation due to shortage of staff. So...I move from K2 to K1 then Pre-N and Playgroup.
Playgroup (18 months - 2yrs plus) has this new 17-month Jap boy who hates to crawl and has not learn how to walk. He loves to be carried around. Man....I got to carry him for hours!!! Put him down for a crawl...tried teaching him how to walk and managed to get erm....3 minutes break. Finally...I got to sit down for an hour w/o him crying for another stroll. Phew.
I tink pre-school teachers deserve a higher pay!! Have to handle such difficult kids and still got to plan activities and curriculum for them. That's juz the tip of an iceberg. Kowtows to them man!! I can't handle toddlers for God's sake. They dun understand me and vice versa. Hmmm....I tink I'm left with babies under 17 months to lay my hands on. Haha. Coz I'm done with Pre-school and Primary school kids. Had enuff of that!
Rushed down to Next salon after work with Tesh. The guy told me he'll be change my hairstyle by blowing the hair ends to give those wavy looks. He tried so hard...that I could hear my hair crying for help, "Dun pluck me out!!! My mistress needs me...she doesn't have that much of us left!!"
Amidst, the trainer and some senior hairstylists came by to comment or demostrate. I heard the trainer telling the guy that he should get models like the gal behind me. Coz my hair is too layered, too thin, too soft and too flat to carry the style he was trying to create. Then another stylist came along and commented that my hair is pretty easy to style. *confused* At times, he will take over the hairdryer and brush to give the trainee some tips.
After 2 hrs of blowing, I've got lil curls at my ends. Nice! BUT within 10 mins, those curls VANISHED!!!! 2 hrs of work....gone in 10 mins time? Can't even take a pic to show u lor!!?? *hmph*
Anyway, the night was still young at Holland V. So both of us headed down to Wala Wala. Was full-housed and we were asked to leave our name and to loiter around for 30 mins. Meanwhile, we walked down to Harry's Bar to take a look. Crowded as well but not that packed. When we were standing in the middle of the street and deciding between Harry's and Wala, I spotted Chen Hanwei at Gelare. He looked towards my direction and kinda stared at me. I pretended to look away and continued the discussion. Later I peeped at him again n found him laughing at me. His table of 4 guys weren't sharing a joke; he's a stylist, and that made me so self-conscious and started wondering if there was anything wrong with me or my dressing (Mini Minnie Mouse white tee, purple ballon skirt, pink shoulder bag and heels). Or maybe my mini tee was making look like the Michelin mascot? Heehee.
Finally got a table at Wala Wala. Got myself a Strawberry Margarita (Frozen). Wanted Bailey's at first but Tesh's description wasn't what I want. Heh. We shared a plate Calamari too. Wooohoo.....a piece of that gave my tastebuds a new leash on life. Tesh and I had a tough time "subduing" the cravings for another plate.
I love chilling out with frenz in bars like Wala Wala. Cosy and nice. Having a drink or two can be relaxing too. How I wish my body can take in more alcohol w/o revolting with itch on my back.
Alritez....I tink I'm done with my updating. This entry is the longest entry (so far) for 2006. Ciaoz.
