Youngsters nowadays ain't grateful!

2 weeks ago, my ex-student, Joey asked me to help her with uploading of pics into Photobucket and putting them into her blog. Despite being busy at work, I helped her out. Amendments after amendments, I patiently did them for her. I also advised her to pick up those basic skills so she can host her own blog with her own efforts.

A week later, she came buzzing me online to do her a favour again. This time, it is something a lil complicated and I din have the time to do that. Moreover, she changed her blog skin AGAIN!!! All those efforts I have put into the previous week was wiped out! I understand her rationale of changing blog skins like the way she change her clothes everyday. But she is bothering others to do that for her. And it might not be an easy task.

I dun mind teaching someone how to fish but I'm NOT going to fish for him/her!!!!!!! Maybe it's my independent personality, I just hate to see people who rely on others when they have the ability to fend for themselves.

I got so pissed off by her last week that I tagged my emotions in her blog. "PISSED OFF BY YOU!!!" I didn't want to talk abt this incident, until I read her reply to my tag today: "u dun wanna help me nvm... i ask other ppl 2 help then". How haughty was that!?! *TRIPLE PISSED* And that's the way she chose to show her gratitude! Okie....maybe I might have misunderstood the tone she used in the reply. Oh well, I can imagine her in her smug face saying that arh. Haha.

Watever it is, I'm just too disappointed with the attitude of youngsters of today. Youngsters = those born after 1990. Oops. I tink a spit from each of them should be able to drown me. But too bad la....Singapore cannot anyhow spit ey.

P/S: "Youngsters" reading this....Please dun take it too personally. Bcoz in macro view, U might be ungrateful and disappointing; in micro view, you might not be arh. Heh. Get it? Looking forward to know u in the micro view mode. =)
