Happy Moments!!

Days were stressful before (30 Aug) I handed in my first 2 assignments of the semester. But that after, I went on holiday mode....til today. Little do I care of my next assignment that dues in 2 weeks time. Haha.

Back date a lil...my baby niece, Lenice, has joined my maternal family on 18th Aug!! This poor lil newborn had virus infection therefore I only got to see her via my cousin-in-law's digicam back then. Just this Wed, I popped by my cousin's place (next to my block) to visit her and Lenice. Heee....Lenice is so cute!!!! Took a pic of her with my hp. Will upload soon. She refused to sleep that afternoon...maybe she knew that her playmate aka me, her auntie (but I'll insist she calls me jiejie) was there.

I told her to grow up quickly so she can play with me; she listened on. I sang Twinkle Little Star to her and she listened attentively. However, I didn't carry her. I'm always afraid of newborns coz they have a HUGE invisible 'FRAGILE' sticker on them! Eeks! But I'll try when she is 1 month old. *shivers*

Ohhh....I like her name ey. Coz it differs from mine by two alphabets. Hee. Sounds alike too! Heh.

Another happy moment is that my dear brother is getting married!! Woohooo.... I can't believe my ears at first though! Hurhur.... I always think that my brother is too child-like to settle down. =P

What makes me happier is my shopping trip @ Dhoby Xchange - my new-found fave shopping place. Though itz just a small shopping area above Dhoby Gaut MRT station, there are many nice shops there. At least one shop got me to buy 2 tops and 1 skirt from it. Well... I can shop in malls and din get anything. So, Dhoby Xchange did a great job. And upon every $40 spent, I received a free movie ticket. Hee. What a deal. *throws an Auntie look*

Ohh....speaking abt Aunties, I came across two that was really irritating. I was shopping with Sian at PS and found that P.O.A has shoes at 50% discount. When we entered the shop, I saw two Aunties trying on shoes. They tried practically every design, made the sale assistant run to n fro for them and at the end of everything, they made a big fuss over $2.

Sian bought the same design of shoes and gladly paid $18 coz we know our maths. 50% of $36 is $18. And those two aunties were giving the sales assistants a hard time (at 10pm when they should be knocking off) by insisting that the shoes cost $16. They mentioned seeing a $16 tag on the displayed shoes. Ey, both Sian and I didn't see any tag on those shoes when we picked them up. Duh.

I duno how they resolved the conflict coz we left. But if I were the sales assistant, I would have thrown $2 (out of my own pocket) at their faces. Argh. Hmmm....maybe not arh....I wanna be a good service personnel! Haha.
