I've officially crossed the 23rd hurdle of life with another year of long distance run ahead of me!

This is the first time that I felt so loved and blessed. Not afraid to confess, I cried suddenly and went on my knees to thank God for such a great birthday. I wasn't surrounded by many frenz or had a great party, but simple gestures (e.g. sending SMSes) could make my day beautiful.

Ting, Sian and Kai gave me a sweet surprise at my office on Sunday, when I was only expecting Ting and tot the surprise would only come on Monday. Haha. And on Monday, we meet up again with Hua, to have a satisfying lunch at Marche. Later the day, we went to Minds Cafe w/o Sian for a round of board games. The day ended sweetly with yummy cakes from Secret Recipe.

As always, happy times will only be short-lived for me. A 24-hr fairy tale this time. Shortly after my bday hurdle, I realised that I have been an asshole all these while to a friend. I have made her life so miserable and I was unaware of that.

Using this chance to publicly apologise to this fren of mine. I'm very sorry for watever I've done. And to all friends, who have been tolerating me since God knows when, and would have been immune to it by now, that I'm sorry to u too. I know I'm very a insensitive, ignorant, ill-tempered sore loser. =x

Not sure how many hurdles of my life u'll be along with me...I'll still be grateful to have meet u along the way. Thank you.

Risking the probability of failing my exams to blog. Haha. But I'm very sure I'll flunk my Psy paper. =/

Are you guys checking my wishlist for bday gift ideas?? Haha. No need lar. I haven been updating it. Moreover, buying gifts for me is very easy one, no? I'm a very transparent person. My likes or dislikes, happy or angry...all sooooo VISIBLE!

Hee. Now I'm watching a Taiwanese variety prog, Peach Protein, they are planning a surprise bday party for the 2 hosts. Woohoo...got "Man Power" show for them. Haha...seems fun. Okie....I'm not requesting for a "Man Power" show for me here!

The host and the guests are discussing abt their's or their frens' bday party experiences. Happening sia. This episode reminds me of its previous one, also discussing parties (in general). These episodes just give me an impression that Taiwanese are fun-loving and pretty LIBERAL! Heh.

I do wish for some fun-filled theme parties!!! A piggy-theme party?? Hurhur. But my social circle not big enough to hold such parties ba. Maybe I fly to Taiwan to gate-crash one!?

Before I go, just wanna let u know that u dun have to bother abt my bday gift coz a simple DIY card with sweet totful words can brighten my day! I m NOT pretending here (in case some pple mite tink otherwise)!!

Okie...time to go study ler! Slack too much ler arh!!

Edit: Oh...Must thank Sueai for my first prezzie of this bday. Heee....can't wait to watch "The Cars" DVD after my exams!!

Just got back from the doctor...MC is given for today. Good thing that I can rest for today. I even asked the doc to gimme a stronger medicine to fight all the virus.

So now, I'm off to my Lala-Land! Suddenly, I feel lonely. Especially after having lunch with Korkor and Da-sao. How I wish to have a loving guy to stroke me to sleep now.... *gasp* it must be the medicine! Makes me sprout nonsense.

*sniff sniff* Flu bug got the better of me! But why do this to me when I'm preparing for my exams? Praying hard to pass this sem's exams coz there are too many distractions in my midst of preparations.

Firstly, it is the constant travelling between Raffles Town Club and my new office at Hwa Chong Institution. Have to set things up for MCYS approval and stuff like that. Super tiring....but tireness vanished when I got to play with the infants at our new site. =)

Secondly, there are gazillions of work to be done to run the shift of office smoothly. And these 2 weeks are the busiest week. I don't know how I'm going to get thru all these.

Then, I have my Psy paper next Monday. Only to realise that my cousin is getting married this weekend. I got to wake up earlier tmr to be one of her jie-meis then skip her church wedding to rush down to work. And I've to rush down to her wedding dinner after work on Sunday. Hopefully I can read some of my notes while enjoying the dinner.

Luckily my Soc paper is on Fri. Guess I got to apply leave to study ba. =/ Will things get better after the 17th? I dun dare to imagine...

Oopsie....has been quite a while since I last updated. Oh well....same old reason...BUSY!

A summary of the events that happened in the past weeks:

1) Frenships continue to sail after the storm of misunderstanding.
2) Cleared 2 final essays of the semester in the expense of having 2 hours of sleep for 4 consecutive days.
3) My office will be relocating at Hwa Chong Institution. No hiccups, please? *fingers crossed*
4) My dear Korkor went thru the Chinese custom marriage ceremony on 29 Oct and hosted his wedding dinner the next day. Well...the newly wed couple has already been annouced husband and wife at ROM on 25 Oct.

Ermz....these are the main events that I can recall. Nevertheless, there are many things to talk about in greater details, especially my Korkor's wedding.

I took part in typing out the guest list, arranging guests' seats, searching for nice wedding songs, ensuring the lunch buffet was properly set up, shopping for nice dresses to look good on Kor's big day, being the most welcoming receptionist of the dinner, counting ang bao money and "making records" of who are the most generous and most 'niao' guests. =P

*Yawnz* Guess Sleepy Monster has caught up with me and I got to wake up early for work too. Making another empty promise here again....I'll try to upload some pics next time okie. Sorry. Hopefully after my exams....17th Nov. Ciao!

P/S: Let me thank some frenz here before I forget. Karene and Jill, thanks for rushing down to my Korkor's wedding dinner after work, despite the last minute invitation. Xiting and Huisian, thanks for coming down on Sunday for the lunch buffet. Was supposed to play mahjong but no table and no energy, we couldn't do much either. =)
